Memorial plaques

There are commemorative memorial plaques available at Thornhill Cemetery and Western Cemetery.

All plaques are on a ten year lease with the option to extend the lease at any time or to simply renew it at the end of the lease period:

  • A granite plaque in the Gardens of Remembrance – 2 sizes available;
    290mm x 100mm with a posy holder or 180mm x 120mm with a larger flower holder.
    A design can be included from the choices available.
  • A bronze plaque fixed to a bench.

  • A granite plaque in the Garden of Remembrance. 245mm x 140mm. A design can be included from the choices available.
  • A bronze plaque on the Memorial Wall.
  • A bronze plaque fixed to a bench.

It is possible to lease a space for a bronze plaque on a bench made from recycled material. The benches are located in specific bench bays and up to 3 bronze plaques may be placed per bench on an initial 10 year lease period.
