Memorials
The importance of memorials as a means of commemorating the life of a loved one; to act as a focus for grief and to form an historical record in years to come has been widely recognised.
Visitors travelling by car to Thornhill Cemetery and Crematorium, or Northern Cemetery, are advised to allow additional time for their journey. Highway improvements are being carried out on Thornhill Road, close to the cemetery entrance, and temporary traffic lights are in place.
